Exercises

Here we will examine different exercises to enhance your health and fitness.

Exercises for your lower body/legs include:

  • Leg Extensions - concentrate on the muscles in your quadriceps, the front portion of your thighs.
  • Squats - work the muscles in your quadriceps, hamstrings and glutes (the front of your thighs, the rear or your thighs and your butt, respectively).
  • Leg Curls - concentrate on your hamstrings, the rear of your thigh. 
  • Calf Raises - concentrate on your calf muscles.

Exercises for your upper body include:

  • Bench Press - the popular combination exercise works your pectorals (chest), deltoids (shoulders) and triceps (the back and side of your upper arms).
  • Incline Dumbbell Press - this exercise works your pectorals (chest), deltoids (shoulders) and triceps (the back and side of your upper arms).
  • Dumbbell Shoulder Press - works the muscles in your shoulders and triceps.
  • Side Laterals - concentrates on your deltoids, shoulders
  • Triceps Pushdowns - concentrates on the triceps
