Tips on Getting The Most Out of Your Triceps Pushdowns

Make sure all movement is controlled, do not jerk weights down or drop them on the upward arm movement.

Make sure arms are held tight to body to isolate triceps throughout entire movement and keep wrists straight to avoid undue stress.

To increase the contraction at the bottom of the movement, push the bar straight down towards the floor as though trying to push your body up.
